About the Role

You will be an integral part of a growing SaaS startup based in Australia, focusing on a Fintech/management application. This platform helps businesses streamline operations and workflows and is currently in active development with a significant user base. You will collaborate closely with a distributed team, including the CTO and Product Manager, and will be the second QA engineer on the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of a mobile hybrid application.
• Maintain and expand the existing automation test suite using TypeScript and Appium.
• Handle technical support tickets, including reproducing, investigating, and documenting issues.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed international team.
• Actively utilize and explore AI tools to optimize and innovate testing processes.

Requirements

Must-have:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, encompassing both manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience testing mobile applications, specifically hybrid apps.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and Appium.
• Proficiency with Command Line Interface (CLI) tools and working in terminal-based environments.
• Solid understanding of non-relational databases.
• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English proficiency (B2+) for active client communication.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience within the Fintech domain.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB.
• Experience with or a strong interest in Agentic QA workflows.

• Customer: A growing SaaS startup from Australia.
• Product: A Fintech/management SaaS application for business operations and workflow management.
• Technical Stack: TypeScript, Appium, Mobile Proxy, DynamoDB, CLI, OpenClaw (AI agent platform).
• Work Schedule: Full-time, fully remote. Requires overlap with Australian time zone, including early morning stand-ups (around 9:00 AM Kyiv time).
