Acorn International School in Rome is seeking a dedicated and experienced Middle & High School Teacher with a specialization in Technology, Science, and IB Diploma Programme Physics. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting June 1, 2025.

About the Role

As a Middle & High School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in Technology, Science, and specifically IB Diploma Programme Physics. You will foster a stimulating learning environment for students, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Technology, Science, and IB Diploma Programme Physics to middle and high school students.
• Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans aligned with school standards and the IB framework.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Physics, Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching middle and high school students.
• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme, particularly Physics, is a strong advantage.
• Must possess EU working papers or valid documented permission to work in Italy.
