About the Role

Join Remote at a pivotal time as a Senior Mobility Specialist within our Onboarding and Mobility team. This role offers the unique opportunity to directly impact the global employment landscape by ensuring employees transition smoothly across borders, adhering to local laws, and receiving comprehensive immigration and relocation assistance. You will play a key role in enabling Remote and its clients to secure top global talent while upholding our commitment to risk management and clear stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned cases using case management and billing systems.
• Provide guidance on specific travel needs, counsel on immigration processes, and act as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases.
• Offer legal and strategic guidance on immigration compliance service delivery to clients.
• Manage senior-level escalations to support Mobility Specialists.
• Assist leadership in the management of large projects.
• Monitor the Mobility dashboard and communication channels to ensure response times meet SLAs and status is accurately reported.
• Seek, control, and establish in-house immigration services to enhance revenue generation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze, prepare, and submit visa and work permit applications.
• Mentor and support Mobility Specialists and Coordinators.
• Contribute to training materials for new service offerings and support training rollouts to other departments.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Independently monitor immigration law, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes and controlling internal documentation.
• Apply immigration knowledge to provide solution-based responses for complex client cases.

Requirements

• An immigration lawyer licensed to practice in Germany.
• Extensive experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar immigration-related roles.
• In-depth understanding of immigration processes and compliance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in the tech industry or a hyper-growth and scaling environment is ideal.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience working remotely is a plus.
• Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.

Location: While we welcome applications globally, we will prioritize candidates from the DACH region to encourage team diversity. Salary Range: €63,550—€71,500 EUR annually.
