Key Responsibilities
- Support the redevelopment and maintenance of our web estate, including our corporate website.
- Create, format, structure, edit, and publish effective, user-focused web content using Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Utilise your knowledge of CMS platforms including WordPress, Umbraco, Alterian Immediacy CMC, and SharePoint.
- Train and support colleagues across the organisation in updating their web content to ensure it is user-friendly.
- Provide specialist support in the production of various digital communication content, such as website copy, high-quality video, audio podcasts, email marketing, and digital graphics.
- Distribute completed digital content across a range of channels, including YouTube, Vimeo, and our website.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to organise complex information into coherent website content.
- Identify and troubleshoot website technical issues, working with external contractors to resolve them and develop new functionality.
Requirements
- Experience in a busy and varied multi-disciplinary communications environment.
- Detailed knowledge of Content Management Systems, including WordPress, Umbraco, Alterian Immediacy CMC, and SharePoint.
- Experience in digital communications.
- Educated to degree level in an appropriate specialist discipline, or possess equivalent relevant specialist experience.
- Ability to organise and structure complex information.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical website issues.
