The US Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisory Education Program Administrator to serve as a Community Superintendent in Vicenza, Italy. This is a senior, permanent, onsite position.

About the Role

As the alter ego to the District Superintendent, you will fully share in the duties, responsibilities, and operations of the assigned District Office or District Field Office. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the effective administration and oversight of educational programs within the district.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the direct deputy to the District Superintendent, sharing in all operational duties and responsibilities.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned district or field office staff and school administrators.
• Provide leadership and support for core curriculum programs.
• Oversee and support special education initiatives.
• Lead efforts in continuous school improvement and accreditation processes.
• Facilitate and support professional development programs for staff.
• Provide policy guidance and professional expertise to ensure compliance and excellence in educational delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Program Administration.
• Demonstrated ability in Supervision and leadership.
• Strong background in Education, including curriculum development.
• Experience providing Policy Guidance.
