Acorn International School is Hiring: Middle & High School Humanities Teacher (Rome)

Acorn International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Rome. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position, commencing June 1, 2025.

About the Role

As a Middle & High School Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction in Humanities subjects to students in our middle and high school programs. You will foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and potentially Art History.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, or a related Humanities field.
• Proven experience teaching at the middle school and/or high school level.
• Possession of EU working papers or valid documented permission to work in Italy.
• An Art History background is considered an advantage.
