The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Venice, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maître to join our esteemed Food and Beverage team for the 2025 season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a world-renowned luxury hotel and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

About the Role:

As a Maître, you will be responsible for supervising food and beverage service operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, seasonal position, operating from March to October 2025, with a 40-hour working week. You will report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant service.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to all guests.
• Manage and train service staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage presentation and service.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
• Proficiency in relevant languages is a plus.
