About the Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions across web, mobile, and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with product, development, and operations teams to ensure our releases meet all functional and non-functional requirements, while also contributing to the definition and enhancement of our QA practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze user stories, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Create and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and flow diagrams.
- Define, maintain, and execute test scenarios and test cases for web, mobile, and API layers.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and compatibility testing, as well as non-functional testing (e.g., usability, accessibility).
- Report, prioritize, and track defects using project management/bug-tracking systems, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in test environment setup, data preparation, and test execution scheduling.
- Contribute from a QA perspective within an Agile environment, attending sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, including defect backlog trends, test coverage, automation coverage, and release readiness.
- Support automation efforts by designing or maintaining automated test scripts (UI/API) with the development team.
- Influence tooling and process improvements, including selecting and rolling out new QA tools, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines, and promoting best practices.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in both manual and automated testing across web and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
- Proven track record in defining QA strategy, implementing frameworks, and improving overall quality maturity.
- Solid understanding of non-functional testing types such as performance and security.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, product, and operations, and communicate quality status to business leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive change.
- Fluent in both Lithuanian and English (written and verbal).
Advantageous Experience
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Experience with security and performance testing.
