About the Role:

Join CreatorGlobal as a Freelance English Subtitle Specialist and play a crucial role in our transcription and localization efforts. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering high-quality English subtitles for MrBeast's original content, making it accessible to a wider global audience. This is an opportunity to contribute to an innovative subtitle production workflow within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create English subtitles for weekly YouTube content, ensuring linguistic accuracy and adherence to standard subtitling rules.
• Implement feedback from team members and leadership to revise and improve subtitles.
• Perform subtitle versioning, conforming subtitles to new video references, and conducting subtitle and transcript quality control (QC).
• Assist with ad-hoc subtitling and localization tasks as needed.
• Adapt to and utilize a proprietary subtitling tool, which mirrors familiar software but includes specialized formatting.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet tight turnaround windows following video delivery.
• Communicate effectively with CreatorGlobal leadership to report tool issues, identify inconsistencies, or suggest workflow improvements.

What We're Looking For:

• Native English speaker.
• Professional experience in subtitling, transcription, dialogue list creation, dubbing or AD script writing, or proofreading and editing related to subtitles.
• Familiarity with various subtitle formats (e.g., SRT, ASS, VTT) and those with embedded style metadata.
• Experience with subtitling or video editing software such as OOONA, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and escalate problems clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in delivering consistent, quality work under pressure.
• Flexibility to accommodate late requests and begin tasks immediately upon video delivery.
• Comfort working with proprietary or non-standard tools.
• A curious and cross-disciplinary interest is a strong plus, with experience or enthusiasm for fields like coding, motion graphics, media production, or UX.
