About the Role

Thoughtworks is seeking a senior Lead Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this role, you will act as a crucial bridge between our clients and our software development teams. You will be instrumental in understanding complex client challenges, defining the outcomes that software must achieve, and collaborating with developers to create innovative, custom applications. You will work across various sectors, ensuring that the business-critical software solutions we deliver provide tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client business problems to build, maintain, and evolve product roadmaps that drive impactful solutions.
• Foster effective collaboration between Thoughtworks and client teams, promoting open communication and advocating for shared objectives.
• Assess current situations ("as-is") and work with clients to create artifacts such as personas, epics, and stories to maximize value delivery.
• Facilitate analysis workshops using agile methodologies with senior client stakeholders to define business vision, objectives, product roadmaps, and project release plans.
• Help companies across diverse industries achieve differentiating outcomes by engaging with and influencing senior business stakeholders.
• Liaise between clients and your team (including SMEs, C-suite executives, developers, quality analysts, tech architects, UX designers, and project managers) to manage the product backlog and oversee software delivery.
• Work within agile teams to facilitate organizational transformations for medium and large-scale businesses.
• Participate in the Business Analysis community of practice to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and evangelize best practices in Agile, Lean, and Continuous Development analysis.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Proven track record of delivering impactful software, ideally within a collaborative software delivery team.
• Strong experience in modernization projects with end-to-end process understanding.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to story writing and delivery, with the ability to connect overarching client strategy to team outcomes.
• Enjoy identifying the root causes of client pain points, validating business opportunities or problems, and partnering to deliver solutions.
• Well-versed in Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery methodologies, with a passion for mentoring others.
• Solid understanding of business operations and experience in modeling business processes using various tools and techniques for requirements elicitation.
• Ability to design and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to define business vision, objectives, product roadmaps, and project release plans.
• Familiarity with technology trends and their application to real-world business challenges at a program or project level.

• Experience in coaching and leading teams, with a commitment to knowledge sharing.
• Aptitude for prioritization, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and conflict resolution.
• Resilience and flexibility in ambiguous situations, with a passion for solving problems from both technical and business perspectives.
