Junior Account Manager (Contractor) - Remote

This is a staffing agency position through TCWGlobal, with the selected candidate being employed by TCWGlobal. This is a remote, contract assignment anticipated to last approximately 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Compensation: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

About the Role

As a Junior Account Manager assigned to Marqeta, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams across the organization to support marketing efforts. You will assist in managing key business accounts and contribute to various marketing and customer management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic efforts of the POD leader in managing key business accounts.
  • Manage the collateral feedback and approval process, coordinating reviews across internal stakeholders, incorporating revisions, and ensuring all customer-facing materials receive required sign-off prior to distribution.
  • Create monthly customer-centric content to inform the broader organization about customer updates, key metrics, and other information pertinent to the Revenue & Go To Market team.
  • Support the development and delivery of presentation materials using PowerPoint/Google Slides, Word/Google Docs, and Excel/Google Sheets for various purposes (e.g., QBRs, Executive Briefing Decks, process outlines).
  • Assist with day-to-day customer management processes.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Operations or Account Management is ideal.
  • Experience documenting, tracking, and supporting the daily functioning and operations of customer programs.
  • Proven ability to deliver polished, error-free work.
  • Superior communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, and email communication.
  • Experience prioritizing, managing, and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously.
