About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Marketing Lead to join our Core Banking Collective. In this senior role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of how people manage their money daily. Core Banking is central to Monzo, encompassing the development of our account products, subscription plans, and everyday money management tools. At Monzo, Product Marketing is focused on achieving product-market fit, working collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, and User Researchers to build and refine products that are significantly better than existing alternatives.
Key Responsibilities
As a leader within the Core Banking Collective, you will:
- Influence the strategy for a large collective and coach a team of product marketers.
- Individually lead critical projects to strengthen product-market fit across our core offerings.
- Guide the strategy for experimental initiatives in new verticals.
- Partner with Research to define target segments, understand customer needs, and analyze market dynamics.
- Develop compelling product strategies by identifying opportunities for Monzo to better meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management to define and build disruptive products that enhance Monzo's product-market fit.
- Craft clear product positioning to ensure our proposition stands out and is understood.
- Determine go-to-market strategies, balancing business objectives with customer resonance.
- Equip the Marketing team with the necessary insights and materials to market products effectively.
- Elevate the Product Marketing discipline by setting high standards, driving pace, and introducing best practices.
