About the Role

Sidel is seeking a Supplier Manager to join their team in Parma, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position for a mid-level professional. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sourcing strategies and managing suppliers for complex spend categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short- and mid-term global commodity strategies for assigned categories.
• Perform sourcing activities for a defined portfolio of categories at the global and/or local level, aligning with Group strategy.
• Drive commodity performance, ensure compliance, and contribute to overall business profitability.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Strong background in supplier management and commodity management.
• Proficiency in procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
