Company: Newsquest Media Group Location: Remote (UK-based) Contract: Permanent Work Model: Part-time (28 hours per week) Salary: £18,679 per year Application Deadline: 5 July 2026

About the Role

Newsquest Media Group is seeking a dedicated HR Group Administrator to join their People department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their career in Human Resources, or for experienced HR professionals seeking a part-time role. While the role is primarily remote, candidates based within commutable distance of Norwich or Bournemouth may find it beneficial for occasional team meetings.

As a key member of the HR team, you will provide high-quality HR administration and support to managers and employees across the UK. You will be a primary point of contact for HR-related queries and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. We are committed to supporting the successful candidate's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for daily HR inquiries, offering accurate and helpful guidance.
  • Provide comprehensive HR administration support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract modifications, and managing leavers.
  • Prepare essential HR documentation such as offer letters and contracts.
  • Maintain HR systems and employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
  • Provide minute-taking support as required.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent and supportive service.
