Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role

Cespira is seeking a skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Brescia. This is a permanent, onsite position for a mid-level professional. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality of materials and components sourced from our suppliers, playing a crucial role in our manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the quality of suppliers and the products they provide.
• Ensure that all received products are free from defects.
• Act as a key liaison between senior management and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues.
• Provide technical input and guidance for process enhancements and improvements.
• Conduct site visits to suppliers as needed to oversee quality processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Supplier Quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and logistics.
• Proficiency in Quality Assurance principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal management and external suppliers.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support for quality improvements.
