About the Role
Sporty Group is seeking a dynamic Communications & Growth Partnerships Lead to spearhead customer communications and regional marketing partnerships. This role is pivotal in driving growth at scale by expertly blending channel optimization, localization strategies, and commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, negotiate, and manage marketing partnerships across Africa and Latin America.
- Optimize the performance of WhatsApp, SMS, and email channels, focusing on delivery rates, open rates, click-through rates, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure alignment of communications with broader marketing, product, and lifecycle campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to localize messaging, creatives, and campaigns for specific markets.
- Plan and track regional activations and partnerships, including strategic billboards, payment partnership campaigns, and affiliate marketing.
- Measure and report on the Return on Investment (ROI) and performance across owned and partner channels.
- Onboard new communication channel partners and manage existing Bulk SMS, email, and communication partners to achieve cost optimization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in growth marketing, communications, or partnerships.
- Hands-on experience with messaging platforms and lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience working effectively across multiple regions and diverse cultures.
- Willingness to travel for local activations and market studies in existing and emerging markets.
- A data-driven approach with a strong focus on execution.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
