Overnight Teleradiology Opportunity
Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking motivated radiologists to join their team for overnight Emergency imaging coverage. This is a remote, permanent position offering 10- and 8-hour shift options.
About the Role
As an Overnight Emergency Imaging Radiologist, you will oversee all aspects of diagnostic imaging for acutely ill and injured patients. Your responsibilities will include interpreting studies across all modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI) and organ systems. You will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists, sharing the workload of STAT exams and routine studies. There will be opportunities to participate in clinical research and resident education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight Emergency imaging coverage.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across various modalities including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
- Oversee all aspects of diagnostic imaging for acutely ill and injured patients.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced radiologists.
- Participate in clinical research and resident education (opportunity).
Requirements
- Board-certified (BE/BC) by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Association.
- Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited training program in Radiology.
- Demonstrated career interest in Emergency Radiology with excellent clinical skills.
- Comfortable with all modalities of general body imaging and stroke imaging (CTA and CTP).
- Ability to thrive in a 7 on, 14 off overnight schedule.
- Unrestricted Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one.
- Neuroradiology expertise is highly regarded but not required.
- Prior experience in Emergency Radiology is preferred.
- This position is not a J-1 visa sponsorship position.
