About the Role

As an Account Executive focused on credit union partnerships, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth within your assigned portfolio. You will cultivate strong relationships with key partners, identify strategic opportunities, and deliver data-driven solutions that empower credit unions to excel. Success in this role requires simplifying complex concepts and leading consultative sales conversations. This is a remote position reporting to the Sales Director in the Middle Market Channel for Consumer Information Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a defined book of credit union clients, implementing strategies to expand existing relationships and uncover new revenue streams.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers to understand their challenges and position Experian's data, software, and analytics solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and maintain account plans aligned with client and Experian's growth objectives, monitoring performance, identifying risks, and addressing issues proactively.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless client experiences and drive long-term value and implementation.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends and credit union market dynamics, sharing insights to influence internal strategy and client discussions.
  • Leadership Development: Take advantage of opportunities for professional growth and leadership within Experian, contributing to a culture of accountability, innovation, and trust.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, with a proven track record of expanding existing relationships and revenue opportunities.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Technology, or related field sales.
  • Specific experience within the Credit Union sector.
  • A strong understanding of corporate financial priorities and the ability to align solutions to deliver revenue and profit expectations.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving double-digit revenue growth through solution selling.
  • Ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders across various customer departments, including marketing, account acquisitions, risk management, and collections.
