About the Role

The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Venice, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join their esteemed team. This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring a 40-hour work week spread over five days with two days off.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and areas to ensure quality control.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably within the hotel industry.
• Demonstrated ability in supervision and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and customer service principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
