About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Market Manager to oversee our accommodation business in Canada. This role requires end-to-end ownership of new hotel acquisitions and existing hotel account management within your designated market. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential partners, growing revenue, and ensuring our platform offers the best value to Trip.com customers. The position requires the candidate to be based in Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of new hotel acquisitions and existing hotel account management within your designated market.
- Actively identify high-potential prospect partners and grow the revenue of the existing portfolio in the Canadian region.
- Educate accommodation providers on the unique features of the Trip.com platform and identify the correct platform products to maximize their revenue.
- Adopt a customer-centric approach, ensuring hotels provide optimal content, rates, availability, and products for Trip.com customers.
- Keep partner properties informed about Trip.com platform campaigns and ensure strong coverage of deals across your account portfolio.
- Conduct data research and analysis for your assigned market, including market, product, competitor, price, and supplier data.
- Provide market insights to global headquarters to optimize product design and sales strategies for global product localization.
- Undertake other assigned tasks based on business needs.
Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in hospitality, revenue/yield management, or e-commerce.
- An existing network with Tourism Boards, airlines, affiliate partners, and travel influencers is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on execution and fast learning capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking complete ownership of your designated region.
- Dynamic, positive attitude, and a good team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Relevant exposure in the Online Travel Agency (OTA) environment will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
