About the Role

As a Contact Centre Agent, you will be an integral part of Deloitte's OperateNext Managed Contact Centre group. You will work independently and remotely, collaborating with dynamic front-line services teams. Your primary focus will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to clients through various communication channels, including phone and email. This role offers project-based work with the possibility of extension, starting this summer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and solutions using industry technologies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
  • Identify opportunities for service delivery and process efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively with contact centre and help desk teams.

Requirements

  • Proven customer service or contact centre experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Exceptional phone presence and active listening skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental during challenging interactions.
  • Passion for customer experience and a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new processes and evolving client needs.
  • Self-driven with a keen attention to detail.
  • Minimum high school education.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings until 8:00 PM EST.

Assets:

  • Bilingualism in English and French is highly desirable, and required for positions in Quebec.
  • Additional relevant training in customer service or trauma-informed care.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Experience or strong interest in Indigenous subject matters.
