About the Role
As a Contact Centre Agent, you will be an integral part of Deloitte's OperateNext Managed Contact Centre group. You will work independently and remotely, collaborating with dynamic front-line services teams. Your primary focus will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to clients through various communication channels, including phone and email. This role offers project-based work with the possibility of extension, starting this summer.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
- Provide timely and accurate information and solutions using industry technologies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
- Identify opportunities for service delivery and process efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with contact centre and help desk teams.
Requirements
- Proven customer service or contact centre experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exceptional phone presence and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental during challenging interactions.
- Passion for customer experience and a strong understanding of customer needs.
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to new processes and evolving client needs.
- Self-driven with a keen attention to detail.
- Minimum high school education.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings until 8:00 PM EST.
Assets:
- Bilingualism in English and French is highly desirable, and required for positions in Quebec.
- Additional relevant training in customer service or trauma-informed care.
- Post-secondary education.
- Experience or strong interest in Indigenous subject matters.
