Lca and Packaging Sustainability Intern

About the Role

Davines Italia spa, a leading company in the professional cosmetic products sector, is seeking a motivated LCA and Packaging Sustainability Intern to join our team in Parma. Founded in Parma in 1983, the Davines Group is dedicated to creating high-quality haircare and skincare products under the Davines and [ comfort zone ] brands, respectively. Our headquarters in Parma is a hub of innovation, featuring the Davines Group Village, a Scientific Garden, and the European Regenerative Organic Center (EROC), which focuses on regenerative organic agriculture in partnership with the Rodale Institute.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our sustainability initiatives within the packaging sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for packaging materials.
• Research and evaluate sustainable packaging solutions.
• Support the packaging team in sustainability-related projects.
• Gather and analyze data relevant to packaging sustainability.

Requirements

• Interest in sustainability and packaging development.
• Familiarity with LCA concepts is a plus.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree relevant to sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
