About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a key player in our Sales team, driving new business by generating qualified leads and securing meetings with key stakeholders at high-growth companies. You will work closely with Account Executives, acting as a fast-track to learning the intricacies of sales. Your role is crucial in helping Alan become the number one insurer in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate meetings with prospects to achieve company objectives, focusing on prioritization and personalized outreach to meet weekly targets.
- Develop outbound sales leads and respond to product inquiries.
- Execute email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
- Maintain accurate tracking of all communications with current and potential customers in our CRM.
- Conduct quick lead qualification before allocating leads to an Account Executive.
- Represent Alan's products by developing a deep understanding of their value and conducting consumer research to identify how our solutions meet prospect needs.
- Understand, embrace, and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method, ensuring a pleasant, instructive, and delightful prospect experience.
- Increasingly take ownership of engaging with clients and closing deals.
- Contribute to the company's growth and improvement by challenging our products, methods, and strategy, and by getting involved in other relevant projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Passion for sales.
- Experience in Sales, Sales Development Representative roles, or a customer-facing role (e.g., Sales, Management Consulting, Customer Success) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Dutch.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Empathy and a passion for understanding and solving prospects' problems.
- Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
- Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.
- A great attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models is a plus.
