Area Sales Manager - Rome

Vestas is seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Rome. This is a permanent, onsite position responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships within the energy sector.

About the Role

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in generating and closing sales for Wind Turbine Generators. You will actively participate in industry events and engage with potential customers, ensuring all activities align with the company's guidelines and relevant legislation. Your primary focus will be on meeting internal service levels and achieving critical business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present customer solutions that facilitate the sale of Wind Turbine Generators.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract finalization.
• Coordinate and oversee the presentation, negotiation, and signing of contracts with clients.
• Attend industry forums and engage with potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and current legislation.
• Contribute to achieving defined business objectives and service levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales management and driving business objectives.
• Strong understanding of customer solutions and the sales cycle.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to represent the company professionally at industry events.
• Familiarity with the energy industry is a plus.
