NXP Semiconductors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analog Layout Engineer to join our High Performance Analog (HPA) Product Line team in Catania. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the physical design of cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

About the Role

As a Senior Analog Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete chip and block-level layout of high-performance analog and mixed-signal products. You will serve as the lead layout design engineer for your assigned projects, ensuring the successful and efficient implementation of complex designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chip and block-level layout for high-performance analog and mixed-signal products.
• Act as the lead layout design engineer for the product line.
• Set up and debug LVS (Layout Versus Schematic), DRC (Design Rule Check), and ERC (Electrical Rule Check) environments for the project team.
• Collaborate closely with lead chip design engineers on chip-level floor-planning.
• Layout critical building blocks and ensure design integrity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Analog Layout Design.
• Strong understanding of Mixed-Signal design principles.
• Proficiency in LVS and DRC verification tools and methodologies.
• Experience with floor-planning at the chip level.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
