Japanese Player Support - Tier 1 (Remote, Japan)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Japanese Player Support - Tier 1.

This is a permanent, full-remote position for candidates residing in Japan with a valid working visa.

About the Role

As a Player Support agent, you will be a crucial point of contact for our players, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. You will handle customer service operations, provide essential support, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer service operations, including evaluating, monitoring, and analyzing results, and implementing necessary changes.
  • Perform Japanese to English and English to Japanese language translation and proofreading as required.
  • Respond to and support player issues via chat and email, including but not limited to password resets and other inquiries.
  • Work within business hours of 10:00 to 19:00.

Requirements

  • Fluent reading and writing skills in Japanese (JLPT N1 level).
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • A passion for the video game industry.
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in customer service, video games, travel support, help desk, or technical support within an email contact center environment is a plus.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service via email and chat.
  • Capacity to understand games from a gamer’s perspective.
  • Ability to analyze and solve information accurately and swiftly within established guidelines.
  • A team player mentality.
  • Must be residing in Japan with a valid working visa.
