Japanese Player Support - Tier 1 (Remote, Japan)

This is a permanent, full-remote position for candidates residing in Japan with a valid working visa.
About the Role
As a Player Support agent, you will be a crucial point of contact for our players, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. You will handle customer service operations, provide essential support, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer service operations, including evaluating, monitoring, and analyzing results, and implementing necessary changes.
- Perform Japanese to English and English to Japanese language translation and proofreading as required.
- Respond to and support player issues via chat and email, including but not limited to password resets and other inquiries.
- Work within business hours of 10:00 to 19:00.
Requirements
- Fluent reading and writing skills in Japanese (JLPT N1 level).
- Business-level English proficiency.
- A passion for the video game industry.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in customer service, video games, travel support, help desk, or technical support within an email contact center environment is a plus.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service via email and chat.
- Capacity to understand games from a gamer’s perspective.
- Ability to analyze and solve information accurately and swiftly within established guidelines.
- A team player mentality.
- Must be residing in Japan with a valid working visa.
