Senior Litigation Lawyer

Grafton's Tax and Legal department is seeking a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a national law firm based in Madrid.

About the Role

This is a permanent, onsite position for a senior-level lawyer with a strong background in procedural law and complex litigation. You will play a key role in managing high-stakes legal proceedings and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and strategize complex judicial proceedings.
• Manage all aspects of complex civil and commercial litigation cases.
• Actively participate in national and international arbitration proceedings.
• Coordinate and supervise junior lawyers and the team.
• Liaise directly with national and international clients.
• Attend client meetings, including commercial and follow-up sessions.
• Contribute to business development and identify commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in Law and a Master's degree for access to the legal profession.
• Minimum of 6 years of previous experience in law firms.
• Proven knowledge and experience in national and international arbitration.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing teams.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
• Ability to work with a high level of detail and under pressure.
• A business-oriented profile with the capacity to build trust and generate opportunities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and decision-making abilities, accustomed to fast-paced environments and tight deadlines.
