About the Role

As a Junior HR Partner, you will build and nurture stakeholder relationships to drive the development and implementation of HR strategies through our EH Way and AI-first methodology. You will optimize HR health and performance for your client portfolio by providing guidance on HR and legal compliance, with a focus on risk management for industrial relations (IR) and employee relations (ER) matters. You will act as the "expert in the room," ensuring clients feel confident in our mission.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Expert Advisory Resolution: Resolve reactive compliance and legislative queries (terminations, investigations, disciplinary matters) with sound IR/ER judgment.
  • Customer Satisfaction & Retention: Maintain high client engagement and retention by building strong relationships.
  • AI Integration & Efficiency: Contribute to internal efficiency by documenting and sharing AI-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Client Management:

  • Develop and deliver strategic HR plans, review performance frameworks, and drive employee engagement for a portfolio of clients.
  • Build and manage your client portfolio, aligning client expectations with service guidelines.
  • Manage commercial relationships, providing necessary advice while maintaining trust.
  • Represent the HR Partner team in pre-sales environments to showcase expertise.

Technical HR & Compliance:

  • Provide expert, "on the fly" advice on IR, compliance, and legislative queries.
  • Manage complex reactive queries, including terminations, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure employment contracts and policies are legally sound.

The EH Way & AI Innovation:

  • Utilize advanced AI tools to enhance decision-making, automate processes, and increase execution speed.
  • Default to asynchronous communication (Slack, Confluence, G-Drive) to respect time and remove roadblocks.
  • Participate in AI initiatives and share "AI hacks" to improve HR operations.

Technology & Tooling:

  • Become an expert in the Employment Hero platform, leading its implementation for clients.
  • Utilize Asana for project tracking, Slack for collaboration, and the EH AI Agent for coaching.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achieve and maintain a full client workload within 6 months.
  • Maintain exceptional client satisfaction with 0 NPS detractors.
  • Demonstrate AI proficiency and contribute to AI-driven team initiatives quarterly.
  • Ensure client software implementation is completed within 60 days of onboarding.
  • Ensure all work aligns with the mission of making employment easier or more valuable.
