About the Role

As an on-call nanny, you will engage with children in their homes, fostering a fun and nurturing environment. This role is perfect for those with a genuine love for children and a desire to support families. You'll have the flexibility to set your schedule and choose assignments that fit your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as play, reading, and arts and crafts.
• Provide a safe, creative, and child-focused environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day.
• Assist with homework for children up to 5th grade (Math and English).
• Transport children as needed, requiring a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area after activities.

Requirements

• A genuine enjoyment of working with children.
• At least 1 year of childcare experience with infants and up.
• Availability at least three days per week, between 7 am and 7 pm.
• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to assist with 5th-grade Math and English homework.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to provide 3 references (2 childcare-related, 1 character reference).
• CPR and First Aid certification (Employer-sponsored training available).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical ability to lift 35 pounds, bend, squat, reach, and get up and down from the floor repeatedly.
• Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergent situations.
