About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join Remote's Benefits team as a Benefits Operations Specialist. As an individual contributor within the Employer of Record (EOR) Operations team, you will be a crucial extension of our clients' HR departments, providing expert guidance on global employment intricacies across over 90 countries. Your work will directly impact our customer journey and employee experience with benefits. This role offers the chance to develop into an experienced international Benefits Specialist, reporting to the Benefits Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional support to Employees and Clients regarding various benefits aspects, including:
- Key plan attributes (pricing, coverage, claims)
- Enrollment and unenrollment processes
- Invoicing and billing
- Remote platform and vendor platforms
- Process and resolve tickets and escalations using Zendesk and email.
- Execute data-related tasks with precision, including preparation, entry, and downloads.
- Assist in defining, detailing, and executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate effectively with the Benefits team and other departments to analyze customer needs and deliver outstanding solutions.
- Provide analytical, administrative, and technical support for maintaining benefits programs to ensure smooth administration of plans and policies.
- Maintain operations process documentation and identify opportunities for process automation and streamlining.
- Systematically research and distill knowledge into Notion.
- Demonstrate initiative in starting and completing tasks ("scout to scale").
- Act as an internal and external champion for Remote's values and the Benefits team's goals.
Requirements
- Experience in HR Operations, specifically with Employee Benefits, ideally within a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) context.
- A strong commitment to providing an excellent customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction at all levels, internally and externally.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively multitask across various technology tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Previous remote work experience is a plus, but not required.

- Compensation: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $35,250—$79,300 USD. Salary is determined by role, level, and location, considering geographic pay differentials.
