Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consulting is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the European operations of a global food ingredients company. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to drive growth and manage a diverse range of functions within a well-established international organization.

About the Role

As the General Manager for Europe, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational success of the company's activities across the region. You will oversee key business areas, ensuring alignment with global objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the European market.
• Formulate annual business plans and set market share objectives.
• Oversee and manage Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service operations.
• Direct Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Research & Development (R&D) activities.
• Lead New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.
• Manage and develop a large team.

Requirements

• Proven specialist knowledge within the Food Ingredients industry.
• Extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies.
• Experience in leading and managing significant teams.
• Strong understanding of R&D and NPD processes.
