About the Role
We are seeking a talented Thermal Engineer Architect to join our team in Torino, Italy. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing thermal control systems for our cutting-edge space missions. You will contribute to projects that push the boundaries of space technology, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our spacecraft in the harsh environment of space.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and validate thermal control systems for space applications.
- Develop thermal models and simulations to predict spacecraft thermal behavior.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate thermal solutions.
- Define thermal requirements and specifications for components and systems.
- Contribute to the selection of materials and technologies for thermal management.
- Support testing and verification activities of thermal systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in thermal engineering, preferably within the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of heat transfer principles and thermal analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with thermal analysis software (e.g., Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, ANSYS).
- Experience with space manufacturer environments and relevant standards.
- Knowledge of telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, or orbital infrastructures is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field).
