Agentic AI Developer (Junior, Remote)

ManTech International Corporation is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Agentic AI Application Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for a future role. About the Role

This position focuses on developing and deploying Agentic AI and Human-AI Teaming capabilities. You will design and build AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex tasks with minimal human intervention. This role involves integrating AI models with real-world tools and external APIs, transforming manual workflows into efficient, agent-driven capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Agentic AI and Human-AI Teaming capabilities.
• Design and build AI systems for reasoning, planning, and task execution.
• Integrate AI models with external APIs and feedback loops.
• Transform manual workflows into efficient, agent-driven capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams to validate secure AI solutions.
• Write, test, and maintain code for AI agents.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 0+ years of entry-level experience.
• Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software engineering principles.
• Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python.
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and working with external data sources.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and basic interactions with Large Language Models.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience building or working with AI agents, chatbots, or autonomous systems.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deploying AI applications.
• Experience with secure AI development practices and human-in-the-loop architectures.

Clearance Requirements

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
