The iLUKA Collective is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to join our team for an upcoming global sporting event. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in the successful execution of a major international event.

About the Role

As the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation related to the event. You will ensure seamless logistical operations, contributing to the overall success of the hospitality programme. This role requires a proactive approach to planning, coordination, and on-site management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive transport plans for the assigned hospitality programme.
  • Coordinate and manage all on-site transportation operations.
  • Ensure efficient logistics for personnel, equipment, and guests.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to guarantee smooth transport flow.
  • Manage and oversee the transport team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct pre-event planning and implementation for all transport-related activities.
  • Develop a clear understanding of all elements of the assigned hospitality programme.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transport management or logistics, preferably within large-scale events.
  • Strong understanding of on-site operations and event planning.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programmes (e.g., Host Training).
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English languages.
  • Experience in roster management.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
