About the Role
As a Specialized Services Business Development Manager, you will be crucial in expanding Keywords Studios’ Player Engagement Services. Your primary focus will be on driving the adoption of Trust & Safety, Monetization, and VIP Concierge services, while cultivating strong relationships with global game publishers and developers.
You will be part of a global team, playing a key role in developing go-to-market strategies, identifying and closing strategic deals, responding to customer RFIs/RFPs, and fostering cross-Keywords business opportunities. This role requires a blend of data-driven insights and real-world experience to navigate complex situations and deliver successful outcomes for both clients and Keywords. Leveraging your industry network will be essential for creating new opportunities and supporting growth across multiple divisions.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to increase the adoption of new product features.
- Build and implement strategic deals and partnerships to accelerate the adoption and revenue growth of our Specialized Services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Player Engagement within the Keywords Studios network, managing cross-divisional business opportunities with a focus on Trust & Safety, Monetization, and VIP services.
- Respond to customer Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Utilize existing networks within the games industry to open doors and generate new opportunities for Keywords, with an emphasis on introducing Player Engagement Services and expanding into other Keywords divisions.
Analytics
- Provide regular business reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on the cross-Keywords opportunity pipeline and progress.
Communication
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and client initiatives.
- Present proposals, negotiate deals, and effectively communicate complex commercial opportunities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of business development experience specifically within Trust & Safety, Monetization, or VIP Concierge services in the video game industry.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with game publishers at executive levels (CxO, Studio Head, SVP, VP).
- A proven track record of negotiating and executing complex deals valued at over $5 million.
- Strong critical thinking, commercial creativity, and a process-driven approach to execution.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- High attention to detail, with the capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote working environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
