About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to gather, interpret, analyze, and visualize large and complex datasets. You will be instrumental in providing insights to support data-driven decision-making across business intelligence, visualization, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
- Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.
- Design, build, and maintain visual representations of data through charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- Summarize and present findings from data analysis in clear and concise reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through quality checks and validation procedures.
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets to extract meaningful information.
- Apply statistical methods and hypothesis testing to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Identify and implement best practices for data visualization, reporting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide analytical support, and contribute to data-driven initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new analytical techniques, and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
- At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering development, specifically with Snowflake.
- Proficiency in DBT.
- Proficiency with Snowflake services including SnowSight, Snowpipe, stages, stored procedures, views, materialized views, tasks, and streams.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets and Enterprise Data Warehouses.
- Experience with data modeling and schema design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior analysts.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integrity efforts.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
