About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive based in Spain, you will be responsible for leading new-business sales in multi-stakeholder environments. You will manage end-to-end, complex deal cycles, from prospecting and qualification through pricing, negotiation, and closing, driving new revenue across the Spanish market. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to secure strategic opportunities and contribute significantly to our regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to penetrate key accounts, acquire new logos, and drive revenue growth within the Spanish market.
- Act as the lead for your territory, assembling and guiding cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Manage the full sales cycle, ensuring a seamless handover to the Account Management team post-close.
- Effectively qualify leads by identifying pain points and aligning them with Bloomreach's Ideal Customer Profile.
- Utilize sales methodologies such as Value-Based Selling, MEDDPICC, or Challenger Sales to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through active prospecting and engaging with C-level clients via various channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams (SDRs, Solutions Consultants, Marketing, Product, Customer Success) and channel partners to advance opportunities.
- Conduct thorough business needs analyses, prepare proposals, and present Bloomreach's unique value proposition.
- Clearly articulate Bloomreach's competitive advantages and influence purchasing decisions.
- Manage the CRM system for accurate reporting and forecasting, maintaining high data hygiene standards.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Provide market insights, competitive landscape analysis, and customer feedback to improve product and sales effectiveness.
- Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets.
- Mentor and support other team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in B2B software or SaaS sales.
- Deep knowledge of MarTech technologies, CRM, Marketing Automation, CMS, Search and Merchandising, or data capabilities.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue quotas.
- Well-established presence and network within the local Spanish markets.
- Ability to successfully negotiate and close deals in a collaborative team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong relationship-building skills and a focus on customer service.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-calibre presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills and a positive, sales-driven attitude.
