About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Steam Serv Ops Finance Intern in Milan. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to support leadership in driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Support leadership in consolidating pacing reporting and managing daily closing files.
• Assist leadership in developing new tools for pacing and closing processes, focusing on lean methodologies.
• Help leadership maintain updated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
• Contribute to ensuring technical accounting compliance.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial and operational internal controls.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at process simplification and achieving operational excellence.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree relevant to finance or accounting.
• Understanding of technical accounting principles.
• Familiarity with financial reporting.
• Knowledge of internal controls.
