About the Role
The People Operations and Insights team is dedicated to bringing project management rigor to the People team and its stakeholders. We enable innovative and connected People products and programs that support our shared goals and foster sustainable growth.
As a Project Manager on our team, you will champion project and program delivery across various People pillars. You will manage projects end-to-end and cross-functionally, navigating complex organizational dynamics. Utilizing structured project management methodologies, you will ensure the successful delivery and adoption of high-priority initiatives for both our internal teams and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Tackle challenging and ambiguous questions with rigor and independence, owning projects from problem definition to final recommendation.
- Develop and implement project plans, optimize workflows, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and engineering, to identify areas for process and control improvements.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices for all project activities, decisions, and key milestones.
- Prepare materials for presentations to senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and users.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the People team.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a proven ability to drive results.
- 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting.
- At least 2 years of experience working within an HR team at a company.
- A demonstrated track record of navigating complexity and driving results with a balance of urgency and thoughtfulness.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech, and Leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset to inform decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration abilities and a proven track record of building trust and driving alignment across teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR® Model).
- Experience building and deploying enablement and training materials.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., HCM, ATS, LMS, CRM).
- Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity.
- Advanced Mac OS and Google Suite skills (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
