An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Caretaker to join the Estates Team at Claydon Campus, which encompasses both Claydon High School and Claydon Primary School. This is a permanent, onsite role requiring a commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Role

As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of the school facilities. You will work closely with the Premises Manager and the wider Estates Team, contributing to the overall well-being and improvement of the school environment. This role is more than just maintenance; it's about fostering a thriving atmosphere for learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
• Manage ongoing repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Oversee contractors working on school premises.
• Assist with the organization and execution of school events.
• Manage waste management processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records.
• Contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Requirements

• Experience in a caretaker or similar facilities management role.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Experience with repairs and maintenance.
• Familiarity with waste management practices.
• Ability to assist with school events.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A motivated and passionate approach to your work.
